Find me on Facebook (search "Sally Allen Chew") - I'm there much more often than here. I graduated from Rice University in May, 1979 and went to work for Exxon in Houston that September. I married Steve Chew, a fellow Rice alum, in 1984 and we moved to Maplewood, New Jersey in 1986. We have two children - Laura, born in 1991, and Katie, born in 1995. The kids are born and bred New Jerseyans, complete with the accent. Steve and I have lost our Texas accents but still claim native Texan status, although we love living in New Jersey. I worked for Exxon in various Information Systems groups and locations for over 25 years. After the merger with Mobil, my employee position went to Houston and I elected to stay in New Jersey, but continued working for ExxonMobil as a consultant through early 2005 primarily doing project management and planning with more and more financial focus to my work. I was able to do this on a part-time basis and often from home.
