Sally's Story
After graduation I married Lee Jurney and we had a son & daughter. We divorced in 1962. I married Tom Clapper in 1964 and we had 2 more daughters. Our children are 33,44,46, and our only son Wes would have been 49 this year but he died last Dec.l8. That left a hole in my heart that I will take to my grave. I miss my son. He was such a good looking, great personality, and funny guy. My best friend. We grew up together it seemed. He used to say he and I would go to the old folks home together because we were so close in age and get a six-pack and sit on the steps and watch the people go by. He always made me laugh. My girls are great and I have 8 grandchildren that really keep me busy.

still at Caterpillar in Aurora. I worked at Western Electric in Montgomery for 25 years and then at a small electronics factory after Western(ATT) closed.
I live 3 blocks from my youngest Misty,and we have 2 rental homes and a laundromat plus the home we live in here in Wenona.
Tom built me a koi pond in the backyard and it is beautiful. Lots of pretty rocks and a waterfall. The fish are fun to watch.
I'm enjoying being just a housewife and grandma now. And I love to take bus trips with my daughters. We're going to the Indiana craft & hobby show Nov.15th. at the Indiana fair grounds. Never been before but am looking forward to it. Next year we will be going to the Flower & Garden show at Navy Pier.
