Life Hello, fellow alumni: I still live in Louisville and I still love Elvis, though he now shares my heart with Clay Aiken! After graduation I went to college, went to work, bought a home, married, and had two beautiful daughters, now ages 21 and 14. Most of my work experience was in the legal field until 1998, when I went into Medical Transcription so that I could be at home to take care of my terminally ill father. In 2006, my business partner and I launched a personalized poetry internet business, Poetry By Design. I still work out of my home in order to be available to my youngest daughter after school and during the summers, though my father died in May 2005 after a valiant battle with Parkinson's disease. My oldest daughter, Emily, graduated from H.A. in May 2005 and is currently a Junior at SAU. She and I were recently involved in the establishment of a new TNR program at Southern for the homeless cats on campus, Southern Cat Advocates Team (yep, I still love animals as well).
