Life Hello All !!!After High School I became a Fire Fighter for the California Dept of Forestry and Fire Protection,This is my 32nd Year Fighting Fire,My Rank is Fire Captain,I supervise an Inmate Hand Crew.I teach Chainsaw use as well as Tree Topping,Tree Climbing,Tree Felling for the Dept. 2003 was a very busy Fire Season for me. Southern Calif took a pretty big hit with some Major Fires in Oct. I was on most of the Big ones ,The Simi Fire,The Cedar Fire,The Paradise Fire and a few others that were in the Riverside County. May 2004 is already starting to be a busy fire season with burning conditions we usually get in sept and oct. Well it is now 2005 and another Fire Season is about to begin, as predicted it might be the worst yet. This past year I was made the Riverside Co Fire/CDF Fire Unit Chainsaw Coordinator. I have been teaching chainsaw/tree felling non stop since Jan 05. I finally did it in 2002 I got married,a 1990 graduate of Yucaipa High,Yep she was also a FireFighter thats how we met,Ya I got a late start but no regrets. My first child will be born 9/22/04 give or take a few weeks.Yep a first time Dad at 46 Yikes!!!,most of my classmates have grandkids. After moving to Yucaipa for 20 years I moved back to Beaumont. What a change !!! What Growth !! Beaumont is putting Banning to shame. 2006 was a Bad year for fires we lost 5 Fed Firefighters up the hill ...Expand for more
