Sam (Chip)'s Story
Hello everyone! Yes, it is Samuel Calvin "Chip" Cook the 23rd (well, really the 4th). Chip, of course will always do.
What have I been doing with my life? Well, I am happily married to Sarah and we have two boys, Arthur and Henry (and another on the way). We live within walking distance of UNC Greensboro, in an eighty-one year old Tudor bungalow that we are (slowly) restoring.
Because of my interests, I ended up working in two different areas. I work in a small agency of the US Courts as a systems administrator, basically providing IT support for a team of government lawyers. I was also interested in teaching public speaking, as well computer science courses. I became a lecturer at UNCG, as well as NC A & T. I have been teaching college courses now for nearly a decade at both schools.
I stay fairly busy working, so I spend my free time with my family. However, I somehow got into riding and restoring old Vespa Motor Scooters (don't laugh too hard). I currently ride a Vespa 125 (yes, you ...Expand for more

I am especially interested in maintaining my relationships with my Oak Ridge Military Academy classmates and friends. I attended middle and high school at ORMA from 1988 to 1994. Before I attended Oak Ridge and my family moved to that community, I also grew up with several kids (during the late 1970¿s and 1980¿s) in the West End area of Winston-Salem. This would include folks I went to school with at St. Paul¿s Episcopal Pre-School, Brunson Elementary, and folks who lived in the Haynes and Grace Court Park areas of West End. I would also assume many of these folks I grew up with went to Reynolds High School.
