Sammy's Story

*News flash* Wife gave birth to a 7 lbs 6oz baby girl Jan 2009. I imagine all future hobbies and such to change.... I am tired much more often now... Life I've always been a bit of a tech nut, building things and getting into wierd trouble. I currently work in engineering and on occation do a bit of engineering sub contract work, usually in pollution control systems for paper mills. I got married in 1995, no kids, 3 dogs and 3 cats. My current hobbies include. Fishing whenever I get the chance, camping (camper or tent), Hunting (I don't take trophies, it all goes into the freezer), I love building things out of wood or metal even though I only took one shop class. And I love arguing politics with people, Warning I'm a crazy Liberal Democrate. I have learned not to push my political beliefs onto those not interested....Expand for more
Workplace I started out working two jobs in 1990 while attending JCPS, Picked up a computer science degree then moved on to Louisville Technical Institute where I picked up degrees in Mechanical design and Architectural design. Got my first design job in 1991 at Kerr-Greulich Engineering where I stayed until 1994. I then went to LSE Engineering in Louisville, worked there for 8 years, left for 6 months to work for Hawkins Engineerins Civil services and went back to LSE Engineering where I am today. From time to time I set up an occational computer network and work on industrial pollution control systems in state and out of state, these are nice little things called electrostatic precipitators usually as big as a storage building and I find it great fun as long as it gets me out of the office for a little while.
