Sandra (Sandy)'s Story
Life
After high school I attended Fanshawe College for Radio Broadcasting. It was a wonderful experience and I have very fond memories of my years in London, Ont. After college I worked at several jobs and had one major life altering event when I was almost killed in a car accident. I was in the hospital for two months and it really made me appreciate life so much more.
Not long after the accident I met my husband Andy at Gleaners in Scarborough. I used to run into so many people from Malvern there and used to party with my friends (you know who you are) all the time. s where my daughter Laura was born. I also got back into the radio industry selling advertising for The Bullet and Sun FM. We then moved down to the States to the Seattle/Tacoma area. We lived there for about 8 years and had a wonderful time enjoying the area. I finally learned to golf and that is a hobby I will be able to enjoy into old age.
Life often throws challenges at us and I must say I've had my fill of them. We are now located in Clearwater, Florida and I absolutely the love the weather and beaches here.
I often think back to my school years and the people who were so important to me and I hope that they are all doing well and enjoying life.
