Sandra's Story
Life
After I graduated from UConn in '89, I got my Master's Degree at Conn. College. I lived and taught in Colombia, South America for a year, from '92-3. I moved to Florida in 1995, and I got married in 1997. I have been teaching here for nine years, and became a National Board Certified Teacher in 1999. Every fall, we visit Georgia to see the leaves change, and we try to get to New England in winter for the snow. We love to hit the FL theme parks, especially Disney. The best thing about our home is that it is located next to a state preserve, and the wildlife is spectacular--sandhill cranes, wild hogs, bobcats, etc.
