Sandra's Story
Life
The yearbook says I am Susan, never was and never will be. Sandra is bad enough but they even had to screw up my yearbook and give me a new name. Since I left Philly in 1969 I have lived in Europe, Hawaii, Iowa and the South. I love the Souhern climate after four years of freezing in Iowa. I am a Southernized Yankee but claim my roots of being from Philly and very proud of the city I grew up in. I never thought I would become an advocate ...Expand for more
for the less fortunate. My work is my passion. Who would have figured that the once quiet, shy person would willingly take on such a challenge. I guess that's what happens when you grow up, and hopefully age gracefully.
College
I attended college in Hawaii, Lousiana, Kansas,Virginia,and finally received my dual degree in Iowa. Can you tell that I moved around a lot and it finally received a diploma in hand during graduation ceremony in 1992.
