School
Off and on I went steady with Duane (Duke) Irwin. Would I do it again? We learn from all our experiences, so those experiences are needed, thus I might do it again.
One whole day in all 12 years, in my senior year, I "bagged" school with about seven other girls! Nothing like being obvious! So obviously we all got caught. hehehe
Anything we did back then that seemed exciting at the time would pale in comparison to things that happen nowadays. Oh, yes, Erika (Riki) Asper and I showed up at school to pick up our diploma's after the night of graduation because they weren't printed in time. We wore shorts that day on purpose, which was a big no-no then. Dr. Kraft saw us and about had a stroke! We asked what he was going to do, flunk us? hehehehe
Workplace
I've done everything from flipping burgers (my very first job in Lancaster at Burger Chef) to "trying" to sell funeral plots (I guess that's pretty much the same thing)! Mo...Expand for more
stly I've worked in offices as a clerk typist at different levels in the Florida State Government offices. My last full-time job was at Liberty Medical Supply in Document Acquisitions where I called diabetic patients and/or medical facilities to get the proper documentation for medicare payments. I quit when my mother got very ill and moved in with her for 2 1/2 years. I'm at home now since the hurricanes (there was a lot to do to clean up), but I'm only working part-time now as an independent contractor in a quality control capacity.
I'm hoping to find something I can do on the internet from home because I may soon have to return to living with Mom. Her Alsheimer's is getting worse at 89. I only intend to work about five more years anyway.
It's now 2017. Within the past ten years, I've moved to Kentucky, bought a house on my own, and my family has all moved in with me, including two grandchildren, and then out again, except for hubby.
