Hi Former Classmates!
Well, after graduation I married Joel Taylor which did not work out. We had moved to Mich. and then moved back to Maine after a few years. We divorced after 17 yrs. of marriage. I then met a wonderful guy from York, Me. named Gene Blaney and we have been happily married for 19 years. We built a home on Ripley Pond and still live here. Though we do have the place for sale and hope to build again in Ripley. We both love the community and I am on the board of selectmen which I truly enjoy.
I really like history ( even though I didn't in high school) and have written a 112 page book on the History of Ripley. (I know, bet you all didn't know that Ripley had that much history!)...Expand for more
It was a lot of fun to do. I've loved writing since high school. About five years ago my friend Lois Gordon Crawford and I connected again and we are currently working on writing a children's book. Hopefully, one of these days we will get it published.
I've worked at various jobs through the years and am now between jobs. (That's a nice phrase for "being unemployed") My last job was being a personel care giver for a lady who had Alzheimer's.
All in all, I'd say life has been good to me. Sure, I've been done some bumpy roads but I guess most everyone has. But that's what life is all about ......living and learning.
