Sandra's Story
Life
I live Tennessee withh my husband Bruce.
We are retired and loving life.
I am the Business Developer, I find contract work for people who work in closed workshops. I also research and develop new State and Federal contracting opportunities for the agency. I have been working with the agency for 12 years in several positions, Safety and Worker's Comp. Manager, Assistant Director for Housing and Support Services, and now, Business Developer.
I don't have any children. However, our cat is a spoiled brat.
I have done a lot of moving and job hopping since graduation. I have lived in California, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachesetts and Oregon. I do hope to come back to the ea...Expand for more
st coast when we retire, if i can convince my California man that it would be great.
I still get back to visit family in Maine every couple of years and still keep contact with some High School friends.
I am a fiber artist and my current fasination is with free motion embroidery and mix media. I enjoy astronomy as a hobby and also fly kites, when I get the chance.
My husband is a radio personality, with a talkshow "Cooking Outdoors with Mr. Barbecue". We run a 6 hour BBQ course and have been teaching people how do real BBQ for the past 14 years.
I have a busy life and do look forward to a time when I can slow down and work on the creative part of my personality. (read retirement)
