Sandra's Story
Life
Hi everyone! where did 40 years go? I've had a really good life, even if I can't brag about a career or education. Finished Northern in June of ''66'' and had 2 years of friends and parties. I married Tim Wood in 68,(my childhood sweetheart) kept the friends but settled down to being a sweet little housewife and had 3 babies in less than 3 years. I loved being Tim's wife and my kids mother . Oh by the way, Steve is 36, Ginger Kaye is 35, Carrie Anne is 34. I have 1 grandson, William 16, (a 10 year hockey player and loaded with personality.)
I was married for 32 years, Tim died in 2000. It's been 7 years and I'm now ready to start life anew. Don't really have any plans but it took awhile for me to realize he wasn't coming home . BUT look out cause times a wasting and I think I remember what fun is. I live in Gladwin,MI. small nice little town. Everything closes up about 9pm, it's a good thing I'm a boring person or I would have went NUTS here. I'm very lucky to still have so many wonderful friends from school. I come down to Oakland County every few months and have fun then. I enjoy going to the Bar ...Expand for more
and watching people sing Kareoke, nope I don't sing, just watch . Fun for me is a good book, helping people, crafting, garage sales, see I wasn't lying about being a boring person, I live in a neighborhood where I am the youngest one on the block, the rest are in their 80's and I happen to be the one that fixes their waterheaters, appliances or put a fresh coat of paint on there walls. LOL I do have a nice woodshop in the garage that most men would envy, and I enjoy puttering out there. Well if theres any old friends out there that wants to get in touch you can get my phone # off the net, or email me. BYE Update.......finally got another grandbaby in 08 from daughter Ginger, a beautiful little girl named Lily. My daughter Carrie passed away Dec.30, 09 waiting for a liver transplant like her dad did. I now have my grandson William living with me, hoping to get him graduated and off to the armed services. LOL
Life started out so good, somewhere it took a downhill spiral, just when things start getting good in life crap happens, but without the bad how would we know what are blessings are.
