Sandra's Story
Life
Dear Friends! I have been thinking about joining classmates for along time and I don't want to put it off another day! I graduated in 1965 and as my classmates know this is our big year to turn 60! How did we get this old and where did those wonderful years at Norwin go!
I have remained in Irwin (lived elsewhere for a couple of years after marriage)but was glad to come back home! I married Dick Daugherty and we have three children and 6 grandchildren. Two of our children, Patrick and Darcy, live in the area and our son, Michael, lives in Texas. Dick and I are both retired and enjoying our lives immensely!
The older we get the more we realize how important our friendships are........and as I tell everyone.......our "old friends" are our most impor...Expand for more
tant and cherished friends! I work very hard at keeping in touch with friends and seem to be the "social director" of getting old friends together! I am on our class reunion committee and that keeps me involved with knowing where our friends are and keeping in touch with them.
Last nite I attended another Norwin class reunion with my cousin and got reacquainted with a couple of friends that I hadn't seen in 47 years! Needless to say, it was a very special nite and we sure did alot of reminiscing!
That to me is what life is all about.....being with family and good friends!
I will be waiting to hear from some of my long lost friends.......it is time to reconnect and share some old memories and hopefully make some new ones together!
