Sandra's Story
Life
2021 - moved from Chambersburg PA to Knoxville TN. Looking forward to retired life.
2018 - Married Rev. Peter Beddia (twice). We had a simple private service in March and a church wedding in October for family and friends.
2016 - My Nathan passed away from cancer. He truly was my soulmate.
2011 - married Nathan Black in Carlisle PA.
2010 - Divorced.
2009-My Spouse and I are currently separated. Don't know where this will go. Not happy with it but it is his choice. 2010-Am currently waiting for the divorce to be finalized. Not sure where God will lead me next. Never expected to be divorced after 30 years of marriage. Divorce was finalized in Aug 2010.
2011-Married an awesome man on July 31. Looking forward to our lives together. Moving to Carlise, PA.
My Pets
2002-The pets in our household change constantly. Both my 18 year old and my 11 year old are constantly finding or bringing home something. We currently have a Sheltie named Shep, short for Shepard; a guinea pig named Xander; a hamster named Toffee; a plated lizard about a foot and a half long; a 6 foot long kingsnake that my 18 year old brought home from camp last summer; and 2 goldfish. Over the years we have also had iguanas, beta fish, cats, garter snakes, a boa, mice, a rat, geckos, frogs, and a chipmunk which was rescued from a cat but ended up dying from its injuries.2007-The number of pets has greatly decreased to only the sheltie, 2 turtles, and 1 lizard. Which is to be expected with only 1 child, 16 yrs old, still at home. 2009 - The lizard is gone, one dog and 2 turtles - I keep trying to give all of them away.
My Kids
My oldest is Benjamin. He would like to be an actor or a comedian. He is currently working full time to earn money for school.2005-He has found a job he loves-working in a video game store. He is a natural salesman who is honest...does not try to sell anything you don't really need or want. 2009-He has met the girl of his dreams and plans on marrying her in April 2010. 2010-Lisa and BJ married on April 24. Wonderful wedding. Oct 2011-BJ and Lisa welcome little Isabella Kathy Privetts into the world. She was born about a month early, but is healthy with blonde hair and looking just like her daddy.
My second son, David, graduated from High School in May 2001. He plans to work full time and attend Bible School in the Fall of 2002. He likes music and kids and would love to somehow combine the two into a ministery of sorts. He has a small band, "Class One", which self released their first CD for Christmas of 2001. It was Christmas music and included 4 original songs and the rest were traditional Christmas songs redone in their style.2005-He met a lovely young lady at Bible College who he married in April 2004. full of most of the CRITTERS which used to be in mine. 2009 - David and Marcie presented us with our first granddaughter in March. Her name is Arielle and she has gorgeous red hair like her grandmother. 2010 - Arielle is a big sister. Kingston Ocean Privetts was born Aug 21. He has blonde hair.
My daughter, Leah, is 16 and counsels her friends and brothers on relationships. For one so young she is sometimes very wise. She is a junior in high school. She does not look anything like me -- she is beautiful. She plans on going to Bible College for at least a year after she graduates and then would like to marry. And of course, she already has the young man picked out. 2005-Leah is 20 now and married the man of her dreams on FEB 28, 2004. She works retail while her husband works in a funeral home which he will one day inherit. They are also parttime youth pastors at a small church in East Tennessee. 2007- in the beginning of 2006, Leah and Chris divorced. She began seeing someone else with whom she has given us our first grandchild, Tyler. He was born Oct 16, 2006 and is a joy. 2009 - Leah and Eddie married about a year and a half ago. Which increased my grandchildren again. Eddie has a 9 yr old son from a previous marriage. Dec 2010-Leah gave birth to Alix Parker Scalf. I was in the delivery room and almost passed out. It was an awesome experience. Love all my grandchildren.
My youngest is in the fifth grade and keeps us hopping. He is into everything. He likes Science especially Nature. His second interest is Art. 2005-He starts High School this August and wants to dig up dinosaur bones one day. 2007-He has his first job, cashiering at Wal-Mart. He still wants to dig up dinosaur bones. 2009-Caleb graduated high school. He is working at Walmart and trying to decide on college or not. 2011-He got his own place with some friends. Its a new chapter in everyone's lives.
My kids have had the same teacher since February 1992 -- ME. I have been homeschooling them since we returned to the states from my husband's overseas assignments in the military.
My Job
(2002-Currently I work third shift at Wal-mart while we are trying to pay off some medical and dental bills. Working third shift gives me the opportunity to still be home with my kids during the day so that I may continue to homeschool.) 2005-I am in the management training program with Wal-Mart and will be an assistant manager at a store in Farragut, Tennessee, in September.2007-I am still with Wal-Mart. I am the assistant manager over the front end and have about 120 associates under me, the total store has 392 associates.2009-I am still an assistant manager with Wal-Mart. I really enjoy my job.2011-left Walmart to be self employed. Working with deregulated energy in PA. Love the hours. But work is a little slow. Will see where God leads.
