Hi everyone: I haven't been on classmates .com for awhile. I had a few things happen to me that I thought I'd never go thru but I did. I was homeless for about a week. I lost both of my jobs that I had. I have trouble walking due to osteoarthritis so am not working now. I do live with my older daughter Clarice April Johns she is now 33yrs old and is working for the City of Long Beach here in California. I would love to here from anyone from the Class of 1974. Go Rockets!!!!! I am now living in Charlotte, NC. I moved here in Sept of 2008 and have been here since. I have seen my dad and brothers and sisters that I did'nt know to well here and was glad to see and to be living here is so really nice and quiet nothing like living in Cal...Expand for more
ifornia at all. There are still places that look like country here still which I love. Well I hope i hear from any former Mighty Rocket classmates!!!!! I moved from NC in 2013 and went back to live in Texas was there for about 9 months and then I met someone and now live in Florida. My daughter no longer works for the City of Long Beach and am no longer living with her either . So I have been here in Florida like 6yrs now and I find myself homeless once again but now am 68yrs old my disability has gooten worse I cant walk like i used to so this is hard for me to accept but trying to make the best of it. I may end up sleeping in my roommates car for the next few months till we find another house or at. Please pray for me hugs 3<
