Sandra's Story
I'm a single parent of two beautiful kids. A boy, Aaron who is 13 and a daughter, Malena who is 9.
How do I like to relax?
I like to either listen to music and just unwind, watch a movie that will relax me or take a long soak in some hot water in the tub.
What's the wildest thing I ever did in school?
I never did anything wild in school, it all came after High School graduation.
Do you have a hero? Talk about where your inspiration comes from.
Jesus Christ because he died for me.
My children because they have overcome the obsticles in their live with love shining in their eyes. From school work to parents they have no fear, they just know they can do anything they set their mind, too. Which gives me the courage to face my obsticles in life.

I'm back in school at CSTCC. I'll graduate from their in May 09, then I'll transfer to UTC in fall 09 where I'll graduate from in Spring 2011 with a BSW in Social Work. Hopefully I can maintain my grades and recieve a 3.5 my senior year where I can get my masters in one year at UTK. Then I'll be able to be a therapist. I'm thinking about working in the school system or mental health.
What happened to your first crush?
I broke up with him and he married an older lady.
What's the weirdest job I ever had?
I never had a weird job, but I was a Quality Auditor in a machine shop in Dunlap. It was a nasty job. I came out everyday with coolent, oil, and metal shavings all over me. I worked 12 to 14 hours a day, 7 days a week, getting one Sunday off a month. It sounds like a terrible job, but I loved it. Of course, I've been happy in any job I've ever had.
Where have I lived? Why did I move?
I live in Palmer right after grad. when I got married, I moved to Gruetli-Laager. After my divorce, I moved to Dunlap. It's a great plac...Expand for more
e to live. From there I moved to Monteagle, where I lived in a duplex, then my Mom and me bought a house in Tracy City where I live now. I always planned on moving away from the mountain and I may after I grad from school but my families here and I don't want to take my kids away from their family. I've thought about moving to Fl but after the storms they've had lately I don't know if I still want to or not. I love Tennessee so it's not likely I'll move out of the state as long as my parents are here.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Chris Smith because I've often wondered if his mom, sister, and Chris was able to get their life back and find the dreams that they deserved.
Sports. Reality TV. Pets. Share my obsessions.
The biggest passion in my life is my kids, they're my life. I love the TN Vols. Win or Lose, I don't care they're my team. I like watching college football. I keep up with the Titans but I'm not into them like I am the Vols. I like to watch Suvivor. Pet, I don't have any but....Malena has a rabbit, a cat, a dog and fish. Aaron had a cat, but the poor thing got run over and he wants another one. We've had guinee pigs, a white mouse, hamsters, various cats and dogs. I said "no" on the snake. At one time, we had 9 fresh water tanks and two salt water tanks, but they got to be too much trouble when I didn't have the time to take care of them properly. I let them keep one small 10-gallon tank.
My biggest suprize in life was becoming a mother. That's the one thing I would never change. Totally changed my life.
I always wanted to be a Beach Bum when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a Bad idea. As it turns out, they were Right. Ha! Ha!
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the Kitchen and add on an extra bedroom. My dream home would be Finished.
