Sandra's Story
Life
Hi,
I have many pleasant memories of living
on East Timmons and so close to the
Dairy Queen!! My mother was a full time
housewife and my father was an engineer
for the L&N railroad! After Turner I
went to Glencliff for the the 7th and
8th grades. Then my family moved further
out Nolensville Pike and I continued my
education at Glencliffs rival, Antioch
and graduated from there. I then worked
for Southern Bell telephone company for
5 years. I married in 1970 and lived in
Nolensville for one year and then moved

Smithville for 3 years and back to
Nashville and have lived here ever
since. My first husband and I did get a
divorce (no children). I remarried a
wonderful man from another country. We
did not have children either. For the
rest of the story, up to now, you will
have to contact me!
I wish former Turner school students
could get together for another reunion!!
My mother, 2 of my sisters and my
brother also went to Turner plus oher friends
and relatives. I'm glad that the former Turner
school building has not been torn down.
