Sandra's Story
My parents and I moved to Ojai, CA, in 1945 as my dad was suffering from bronchial problems and needed to get out of the harsh Nebraska weather. My grandpa, Charles W. Robinson, was Ojai's Fire Chief in those days, and later became the Chief of Police. We lived with him for awhile at the fire station, which is now the museum by the art center. I still remember my 4th birthday on the roof over the fire trucks. Doris Foyil and Jackie Key came to my party.
We then lived on the Orchid Ranch for about 10 years. That ranch is now Camp Ramah.

ent all through school in Ojai, graduating in1960 with the best class ever; then graduated from Ventura College, UCSB and also the Graduate School of Education. I taught school to mainly middle school-aged students, fulfilling a life-long dream. I also taught piano on and off for many years.
I have two wonderful kids and three terrific grandchildren. God has blessed me way beyond and back!
Today I do some traveling, see my kids, grandkids, and my many neat cousins. I inherited my husband's art corporation and sell his prints in Louisiana.
