Sandra's Story
Hi:
The last reunion I attended was our 35th. It was a lot of fun and I remember the songs that were played and how all of us got up and danced. I enjoyed seeing all of my classmates. I have been living in Arizona for the past 15 years since I retired from Ford Motor Co in 1997. I love it out here. Yes, it gets very hot in the summers. My husband (Skip) and I travel a lot so we try to go to "cooler" climates during the summer.
My daughter and grandchildren live in Kansas so we visit there a lot. Our last big trip was a cruise through Asia. We started in Jordan...Expand for more
, then on to Dubai, India, Thailand, Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
It is unbelievable that when I worked 40 hours a week and went to college at night - that I actually got more done at home and was more organized - than I am now, retired.
I have been involved in many activities throughout the years. I have been a hospice and crisis volunteer because I like working with those who are in need. I know that none of use can believe we are at the age we are, but we have to thank the Lord we made it this far.
