Sandra's Story
Life
The picture that I posted is a little out dated compared to what I look like now. The picture was taken in October 2004, right after I was diagnosed with breast cancer, but before my surgery to remove my left breast and lymph nodes.
November 4th I started chemotherapy and 2 weeks later my hair started falling out. I still have maybe 40 long hairs left, but that is about all :-). My chemo ended Feb 10 this year, and my hair is coming back. It is almost a half inch long now... big difference from the 28 or so inches of hair I was used to.
Anyway, besides all that, here is my bio now. LOL I have changed quite a bit since school. I am definitely more outgoing-a total nut now! :-)) I became a Christian in the Army in 1984. I met my ...Expand for more
husband soon afterwards at Ft. Polk, LA. We were friends there and both went to St Louis MO for seminary after leaving the service, and were married there in May 1986.
After graduation in 1988, we had a few false starts in the ministry before settling down in Mexico, MO-right in the middle of Missouri. There my 2 sons were born, Joshua in 1991, and Benjamin in 1993. In 1997, we moved to the next town, Centralia, where we now reside. My husband, Randy, is the pastor of a new church here. We average about 12 people, but this last Sunday we had 35. We have been recording the preaching and putting them on cd's.
