Sandra's Story
Life
Graduated from Dondero 1967. They were builing the gym and the cafeteria fresh and soph year, so the school was split into am and pm session. Going to school at 6 am was a pain in the but.
Graduated from Wayne State in 1979 with a BA in Geography. Worked at Michigan Consolidated Gas Co making maps. Married in 1981. My husband is a retired engineer for the DetroitWater SD. He makes sure you have clean, pure water coming from your tap. I have four young adults. My oldest graduated Harvard last year. 2 younger sons are at UM, my youngest is grduating Lutheran High School Westland May 2005. My siblings John, Donna, Cindy, and Judy also graduated from Dondero. I am so proud of Donna. She is the bestest sister anyone could have.

ward Young Adult Club. We travelled to Stratford, went on canoe trips on the Au Sable, had hayrides, went to concert, had Anniversary Dinners, bowling teams (where my mom was every body's mom) and mystery road rallys that took us all over Oakland and Wayne County. As the singles started pairing up, the group eventually was gone with the wind. Made life long friends Tom Sauder and Jim Huber, Mike and Anita Phillips, Jack and Diane Baldwin, Pat Kozlowski and Marianne, Paul Schloff, Barb and Rick Bushon, Trish Flumm, Mike Herman, Peggy Carpenter, Doris Foley, Carolyn Habel, Frank Fiori, and of course, Leon Formella. Traveled to Europe when I was 21.
Those were the days my friends, we thought they'd never end, we'd sing and dance forever and a day. We lived the life we choose, we'd fight and never lose. Those were the days, oh yes, those were the days.
