I am the toddler, with my mother Ethel White, grandmother Bertha Willoughby, and great-grandmother Philenia Gray. Summer1941, Fredonia, KS.
Just when I get my screened porch cleaned up so I can enjoy it, I get a visitor. Not surprised to see a snake, but very surprised to see a dead snake.
My great-grandparents, David and Addie Willoughby, early Kansas settlers. I am sure that David saw me as a toddler, but I have no memory of seeing him. I do remember seeing Addie when she was staying at my grandparents.
