Sandy's Story
Thought I would update my story that I wrote almost 8 years ago.
So true how time flies and the need to gather yee rosebuds while yee may. Someone was asking me about high school the other day and I remember having lots of good memories but I don't really remember what I was like. It's funny but i know I did stuff like hitchhike across Canada (15 yrs old)) went on French immersion (16) had a girlfriend (Margaret) and hung out with some great people - Jeff Trip, David Entwistele, Sandy Angelo, Ruth Davies, Tona Robis, Scot Bailey (sorry for any spelling errors) - where did you guys and gals go? Don't you wish you knew then what you knew now?! - I guess that's why movies like Peggy Sue Got Married, or Back to The Future are so popular - the theme of going back is something inside all of us I guess.
Anyway - I have been blessed in life - family, friends ,business, health - hope all of you have been too.
If anyone out there knows me or remembers me please say hello
Be well.
Sandy

Can it really be more than 30 years ago that I attended Woburn...wasn't that yesterday, feeles like yesterday...
Turned the big 5-0 this year=and I get asked a lot "does it nothere me" In a word "no". Don't feel 50 , certainly don't act 50 according to my wife and hopefully I d...Expand for more
on't look 50...
I'm looking back on when I was 17 and 18...I have a very large circle of friends from work, from university but no one from high school.
My last year of Woburn was great. We had a tight crowd - David Entwistle, Jeff and Robbie Tripp, Scotty!, Sandy Angelo, Ruth Davie, Margaret Carberry, Donna Ritchie, Neil Bruce, Tona Robis...I wonder where you are and how life has treated you?
When I finished high school I took a year off and travelled Europe with Rob Mackinnon - anyone remember him? I then trundled off to Wilfrid Laurier University for many years to get my business degree. After University I took another year off (that travel bug) and travelled the South Pacific, Austraila, NZ, most of Asia and a year later I was back home, broke but happy.
I eventually started my own business - an advertising agency and we specialize in TV commercials - I have an office in Toronto and one in Chicago. I am now married (not legally of course) but it has been 18 years and I have one son who is 13 - great kid.
I love to read, golf, still play competitive hockey, running (completed my first half marathon), play guitar and yes I still love to travel. If there's anyone out there that wants to say hi...would love to hear from you
Cheers
