Sandy's Story

Life After working in graphic/web design since 1989, I left the corporate world in 2006 to work in a preschool for a year. I'm now a stay at home mom. I gave birth to our son, Benjamin Richard Parker, on October 10th, 2007. He's the best. I lived in Colorado for 4 years and absolutely loved it, but wanted to move back to be close...Expand for more
r to my family. I had the opportunity to volunteer in New York City for 2 months after Sept. 11th which was a life changing experience. I moved to Glenview, IL in Sept. 2004 to be closer to my then-fiancee. We got married on December 30. It was a blast. I've been battling ovarian cancer since June of 2009. The battle continues...
