Life...... I was born in Detroit, June 23, 1951. That makes me a Detroit Wolverine. The Mitten and Bunny Rabbit of Michigan are my home and always will be my home. I never even left the state until I was 15 years old. We moved around Detroit quite a bit as I grew up. I went to five - 5 different elementary schools. They were, in order as follows......Keating, Lynch, Ives, Carstens, Clark, Hosmer, and back to Carstens. . I went to Carstens, both in the third grade the sixth grade when I graduated. Jackson Jr High School was next. There I stayed for the full three years. At Jackson, my homeroom was 316 with Mr. Rocket for a year and a half. Then they started a new homeroom and I was transfered. That was 214 With Mrs. Harrelson. Do you remember that the entrance to 214 was in the stairwell? I met new friends in both homerooms and still see them today. On to Southeastern. I loved my years at "The Big SE". I was a member of the girls swim team where I won my letter in swimming three times. The first year on the team my coach was Mrs. Bell. The next two years we had Miss. Toni Childs as our coach. She was also the Modern Dance teacher. My homeroom was 323 with Mr. Mack Pitt. I was transfere...Expand for more
