Hi,
Added September 2, 2021--I'm sorry that it has taken so long to post the get together for this year. I was without a computer for over two weeks after we decided that we would have it again this year and then I didn't have Office on my computer, so I couldn't copy and paste the information I need to list.
I hope that a lot of you will be able to come. We are having it again on the third Friday of September after a year off because of COVID. It would be wonderful to see all of you again. I am writing this before I do the listing since some people come on my profile as soon as the reunion is listed and I want them to know what has been going on. We always have a good time. Invite your friends. The more, the merrier. You can never have too much laughter. I look forward to seeing all of you!!!
Just added August 28, 2018--I have difficulty each year listing the get together. There are three listings for the same event in 2018. The first one only listed our class-1969 which, of course, is wrong. I had to add every year one by one from 1962 through 2018. It was time consuming, but you are all worth it to me!!! When I went to add the event, it acted as if it didn't go through, but it did, so when I tried again, it added the event twice with all of the classes listed. All classes who have graduated from WKHS are invited. To see who says they are coming, look at all three events. Right now, I'm the only one listed for the 1969 one and I would delete it, but I don't want anyone to think the event is cancelled, so I will leave it. Just know that most people attending don't say they are coming. They just come. Please come, but if you can't this year, write next year in your calendar. The event is always on the third Friday of September. This is our 10th year, so it would be great to have a big crowd. I look forward to seeing and meeting you!!! See you soon!!!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS EACH YEAR AND YOU WILL KNOW WHEN IT IS BEING HELD SINCE I ALWAYS SEEM TO BE LATE PUTTING OUT THE NOTICE EACH YEAR. I know that a lot of you are checking out my profile since I listed the All WKHS Class Reunion, so I figured that I should write some stuff to let you know more about me. I...Expand for more
am very active with my Class of 1969, sending out frequent emails to over 300 of my classmates to keep them informed of upcoming events, happy things such as new grandchildren, weddings in the family and also deaths in the family. I compiled a Master List for my class with over 600 classmates from our class, including anyone who was in our class any time during high school, even if they didn't graduate with us.
For our 40th reunion, I compiled a yearbook with pages that our classmates sent in and, for those who didn't send pages in, I compiled a page or pages for every person on our Master List including their high school photo and any contact information that I had at that time. It was truly a labor of love. The yearbook is so large that it fills 4 3 inch notebooks. I will have it at the all class reunion for you to see along with the earlier version that I made for our 39 and Holding Party we had the year before as a fundraiser for our 40th.
I have been working to compile a Master List for the All WKHS Class Reunion. I added all the information from the first year, but I have not completed adding the information gathered last year at our event because when I started to add the data, I discovered that much of the information gathered that night was very difficult to read and I got frustrated. I took many photos that night of all the groups and I was going to send them out to everyone once I got the email list compiled. I never got it compiled, so the photos have still not been sent.

To clarify, it is gen for genealogy which I do professionally, girt because I'm still a girl at heart and 51, the year I was born. I list it this way without the symbol because Classmates doesn't really like to have you give out email addresses because they want you to go through them. I don't mind doing the Master List, but I can use all the help that I can get to do it correctly.
I still live in Oakland County and I also do craft shows, so I have kept in contact with some of you through the craft shows.
I do hope that a lot of you will find the time to attend our event. It is so much fun to get together with old friends and the evening is free except for the Cash Bar.
