Sandy's Story
Hi,
I was very sorry not to make the reunion, but I'm still living in Australia, and although I retired early, I'm back at work one day a week. I taught English mainly, but the school asked me to come back to get an instrumental music programme started, and how could I refuse? You may remember that I use to strum the guitar and sing... off a horse led to the wrecking of my left thumb, so I couldn't play guitar, which led me to taking up the flute. I'm happily busy playing in a wind quintet and a wind trio. I also play in two concert bands, so I retirement gives me time to practise. If any of you happen to be in Tatura in November, you can come to our next concert.
