Sara's Story
Life
In high school, I moved from Tulare Union my junior year to Los Gatos High School. That was really hard because I hated to leave all of my friends behind...but I survived okay! Since graduating from highschool, I attended Chico State and got my teaching credential in Special Education. I live in Oroville now (about 70 mi. north of Sac.) and have taught Special education for 5 years in Yuba City. became great friends and later started dating. The rest is history...we got married in Incline Village, Nevada. We enjoy spending time outdoors hiking and sight seeing. My husband works as a property manager at CSU Chico and we have an adorable daughter Carmela Lou, who is 1 1/2 years old! While taking a year off to care for little Carmela, I got my Master's Degree in Education at CSU Chico. I just got a job closer to where we live in Oroville. I will be teaching 7th grade Special Ed. in Palermo.
