Sara's Story

Life This is a general bio for all the schools that I registered for. I went all the way back to elementary school hoping that I'd find some long lost childhood friend. Anyway, after moving from Grosse Pointe in 1977, I graduated from high school in Ann Arbor. I gave up swimming and took up tennis as my primary sport, which I then played through high school and college (Kalamazoo College). After college, I moved down to Washington DC to take a post graduate internship with the electric utility in DC. I marketed energy mangagement programs for 5 years. learning how to budget and carry out large marketing programs, but I didn't see myself doing that forever. So, I decided to change careers and went back to school to get my Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. I got married in 1992 to Greg Shorin, who I had met in DC. We moved to Lake Tahoe (Incline Village), NV in 1997. In 1997, our first child, Sophia was born. She's now 4 and already much smarter than me. Actually, she's been smarter for awhile now. Hope this note finds you well. Please send along a note and let me know how you're doing.
