Sarah's Story

I tend to be long-winded, so here it is as concisely and truthfully as possible.
WHAT I'VE DONE? (some random info)
*born at home in a small southern Indiana town
*lived in 3 states by the time I was 2
*attended 5 elementary schools
*high school sports: volleyball, cheerleading, fastpitch softball
*college sports: intramural volleyball, softball, flag football
*high school jobs: Chick-Fil-A, TJ Maxx
*college jobs: student worker in financial aid office, financial aid counselor at local high school, Olive Garden, Techno Plaza assistant at an elem school
*sang in multiple choirs and ensembles since I was four years old
*flipped a full-size van over a fence 2 months after getting my driver's license; van? totaled. me? not a scratch (yeah, it's a miracle).
*bungee-jumped when I was 17
*climbed to the top of the Statue of Liberty
*broke my toe rock-hopping on the Ocoee River at age 20
*went jet-skiing in the Gulf of Mexico twice (one of my fav things to do)
*spent a summer volunteering as a rec counselor in Appalachia
*rode in a hot air balloon
*student taught in St. Ives, England
*traveled all over Englan...Expand for more
d and briefly to Paris and Scotland
*graduated college Summa Cum Laude, earning a bachelor's degree in Human Development, with minors in Child Psychology and Bible
*taught 5th grade students for four years
*assisted a Chinese doctor with acupuncture and other alternative medicine
*nannied for six families
*planned curriculum, led worship for elem kids at church
*drove an ATV for four hours through the desert, mountains, and beaches of Cabo San Lucas (AKA: paradise)
*ziplined across a canyon at 55 mph
*fell in love a couple times
*got my heart broken several times
*learned the value of true friendship
*made a human
WHO I AM?
*a child of God
This is the only thing that truly defines me and can never be taken away, despite the hurts I've encountered and the shortcomings I've displayed as a daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, teacher, and friend.
