Sarah's Story
Life
I was born 9-6-79 in Houston, Texas. I graduated in 1997 from homeschool and went on to IBC that fall. While there I became asst. youth group leader and children's church pastor. I left IBC in 1999 and got my Child Development Associates through independent study while I taught preschool at a local day care.
May 11, 2002 I married Paul Lewis Trost, a systems administrator for an ISP. A few months later we discovered I was pregnant. Kailey Faith was born eight weeks prematurely, 1-23-03. The doctors said that I have an abnormal uterus and that if I got pregnant again I would either loose the baby or have it dangerously premature. A few months later we were shocked to learn that I was pregnant again. as gone! Our third little girl was born in May, 2005. She was born full term and was able to come home from the hospital when I did. We praise God for our beautiful, healthy daughters, and for the opportunity to be a stay at home mom to raise them in fear and love of Him.
We bought a house in Alvin, way out in the country on four acres of land. It's better then we could have ever dreamed. God has been so good to us. My parents, both terminally ill, have moved to our property to be near us.
My husband and I are now preparing to start a church. Our pastor and his wife (of Light Christian Center, a local spirit filled church) have begun mentoring us in this area. We are very thankful for their asistance, and especially happy that they live closeby, so we can spend much time together.
We can't wait to see what God is going to do with us!
