Sarah Ringelberg:  

I spent the first few years at UF...just couldn't leave Gainesville quite yet, I guess. Moved to Orlando (well, Winter Park) in 1987 and soon after married my husband, Dan. Ashley and Brian were born in 1988 and 1994, respectively. Although, I have spent most of my adult life tending to my (and other) children, I also worked a little too. During the early nineties, I managed a fabric store around the corner from my home. Later, my husband had his own Ad Agency, and for several years I helped him and did the books for him. In the in between times, we have taken in a few babies, whose families needed the extra help and I have spent some time working with people who have alzheimers/dementia. These days Dan is the Creative Director at an ad agency in Orlando, Ashley is spending a year volunteering with the disabled in Scotland and Brian is working on his first year of high school. I spend a little of my week elder-sitting an alzheimers patient while her family is out. Occasionally, a family from church will drop off a child or two for safe keeping until they return. The rest of the week I spend keeping my husband and son in clean clothes, making sure that our cats, dog and ferret don't starve and losing the weed battle in my yard. I als...Expand for more
