Sarah's Story
Life
i am the VERY proud parent of two great kids. nolan is in high school and keeps himself busy with anything outdoors (rock climbing/bouldering, soccer, disc golf, mountain biking, competitive downhill slalom/gs racing). emma is in middle school and loves learning, cheerleads in the fall, and is involved with any drama project she can get her hands on.
i am busy working and trying to raise globally conscious kids thru traveling, volunteering, and education.
i love my life!
School
i have great memories of growing up in the UP. i always hoped to raise my family in the same place, but it never materialized. quite a contrast between my high school experience (125 kids) and my son's (1900 kids).
College

ead i became a mom and stayed home to raise my wonderful kids. always planning to return to school to become a chef, i instead found a happy medium where i can work with progressive foodies and get paid for it. without having the stress level of working a kitchen.
Workplace
i have a great job for a progressive company. i am an accountant for the world's leading organic and natural foods market. i love my work and my extended family.
Military
we are a pacifist family. my dad was in the army, but my children will not serve in the military. i believe in freedom of choice, and we do not feel the military would ever be an option for our household. despite this decision we fully respect our friends that are serving, and continue to wish for their safety.
