Saundra's Story
Life
After HS, I tried college and joined the Naval Reserve. After 3 years with steadily declining grades, I joined active duty as an aircraft mechanic, later speciallizing in inspection. I met my wonderful husband, Michael, while stationed in FL, changed my rating to career counselor, then took my own career advice and left the Navy! :P I relocated my husband to sunny (!) Seattle and worked in construction until my dream job at Boeing finally dropped in my lap. That lasted less than two months as I became too sick to work while pregnant with our lil' monster, Nessie. part-time jobs here and there until my husband no longer needed me to supplement his income. Now I homeschool our 11-year-old and teach math at a co-op with another family.
School
My family moved around alot so I was at Echo Lake Elem for K and 1st, Arrowhead Elem for 2nd through 6th grades, Bellevue Jr for 7th, Chinook Jr (due to school closure) for part of 8th, Redmond Jr. High for rest of 8th and 9th. I attended Redmond HS for Soph and Jr years. Transferred to LWHS for Sr year. I noticed two sets of twins that spilt attendance between Redmond and LW and found out one set is related just days before graduation!
