School I quit school when I was 15 and took my GED when I was 16 and worked full time as a CRNA in a nursing home. At 17 I went to Bible college in Bemidji MN where I met my husband and married at 19. At 38 yrs old I returned to school for my LPN and then worked in a Pediatric unit for three years. I then returned to school for my RN degree. At this point I do not plan on attending more school...but you never know. I love to learn and I love my profession and I just may find my way back to the classroom someday to become a nurse midwife. As far as the questions above... in gradeschool I had a big crush on Clyde Overman, I remember putting notes in his back pockets when I was in 3rd grade and he was a senior. He was always very kind not to make fun of me. I'd have to say the teacher who inspired me the most was the Principal at the Fairfield High School. John McKinna. He used to call me into his office just to visit, he'd gone to school with my mom and used to tell me stories about tipping over my grandmothers outhouse. I would never do grade school or high school all over again it was a terrible stressful time in my life at home. School just added to that stress. I don't know how the kids cope today with all the peer pressure that they have. It was hard enough back then just dealing with the whole popularity issue... or my ranch is bigger than your...today I'm your friend tomorrow I'm not... YUCK!!
