Scarlett's Story
I (Scarlett) moved to Page, AZ in 1995 and graduated from Page High School in May 1997. After graduation I attended NAU for one year before moving to Denver, CO where I met and married my husband, Steven Borgelt. As of March 2024, we will have been married for 25 years! Throughout our marriage we have lived in Golden, CO, Lewiston, ID where our son Stetson was born in 2001, and Page, AZ where our daughter Essie was born in 2003. After leaving Page in 2004 we moved to Southeast Kansas where we lived in three different small towns (Fort Scott, Chanute, Pittsburg) in that region over a period of 14 years. During that time I finished my college education, getting degrees in both Criminal Justice Administration and Nursing. Our two youngest daughters were also born in Kansas, Vivian in Pittsburg, KS in 2006, and Twila in Chanute, KS in 2010. , and that is where we live now. I have been an RN for 15 years and currently work as a Labor & Delivery Nurse in two separate area hospitals where I split my time. When not working, I spend the rest of my time going on adventures with my family. My son Stetson is in the National Guard and my oldest daughter Essie is pursuing her college degree in Counseling. My daughter Vivian graduates from high school in May 2024 and is going to college to study Interior Architecture. My youngest daughter Twila will be a Freshman in high school in the Fall 2024. At this point my husband and I are working on preparing for the next stage of life with adult children and their families. We are into real estate investing and taking weekend trips to visit different sites around our local area. While I don't anticipate ever moving back to Arizona, I have very fond memories of my friends, high school, and the overall time I spent in Page, AZ.
