Scott is a community advocate and a proud citizen of Worcester, Massachusetts. Scott was raised mostly in the 01604 general area. He continues to reside in Worcester, and is an active volunteer for the Worcester Parks and Recreation Department.

g his time at North. Scott proudly was involved in North HighâÂÂs Special Education Department where he made many friends.
Scott has been recognized for his community work through the years. He is heavily involved with local politics. He has been involved in tree planting memorializing citizens with disabilities. He is the unofficial caretaker for the memorial for Marine Lt. John V. Powers located on the Franklin Street Side of City Hall. Lt. Powers was a Congressional Medal of Honor recipient that graduated from Commerce High School.
One of ScottâÂÂs proudest commitments is for the school wide annual award given to a graduating senior at North High School that personifies commitment and citizenship called the Michael Miller Award. Scott advocated for Michael who was a fellow student and friend of ScottâÂÂs from North High Schools class of 1980. Michael passed away during his senior year and he was posthumously awarded a degree. He left many friends, with Scott being one of his closest. This continues to be awarded as a major memorial for NorthâÂÂs end of the year ceremonies. Michael is buried in St. JohnâÂÂs Cemetery, Worcester, MA.
