Scott's Story
Life
Let me begin by saying that through my early school years you would have called me a "ghost". Invisible to most of the students other than the few friends I associated with. I was shy, quiet, & kept to myself, rarely got into trouble with teachers & staff. Well, that did change, beginning with high school once I moved to Ontario. I lost my shell, so to speak.
Hmmm, I wonder what a few of the girls in particular that I had a crush on are doing now (KT, BH, HF, PP, CWx2)?? LOL.
Well, alot has happened in my life since graduating high school & leaving Montreal in 1980 to begin a new portion of my life in Brampton, Ontario.
It's been a real intersting ride so far, & I can't see it changing much in the coming years either.
I've had a wide variety of both part-time & full-time jobs since high school & college, (some more mind-numbing than others); they've included lifeguard/ swim instructor, Disc Jockey for weddings & parties, retail sales, fur company, office clerk, accounting, Junior Draftsman, Sales Administration, & the longest run yet, Paramedic for both Toronto EMS & Hastings- Quinte EMS in Belleville; 16 years & counting.
I do wedding & portrait photoraphy in my spare time, & I've done runway work (modelling tuxedos) for bridal shows (well, that was over 20 years ago when I was in much better shape), but that was a lot of fun.
I've been a extra for film & TV, but ironically, my horse h...Expand for more
as been in more movies & TV episodes than me; I've had the pleasure of being on set & wrangling/ handling him when my work schedule has allowed. Otherwise, he has a wrangler/ handler that replaces me.
I've had a couple mortgages, a few cars, & look forward to the motorcycle I'll try to get one day (too bad though, I'm a bit too late to use the "mid-life crisis" excuse).
Had a number of horses that I've trained & sold along the way, & a couple that I've kept. One of my horses, Dr. CC (the big one in the picture on front page), has showed in the ring numerous times & before I retired him, was quite a speed demon in the roping ring, & events like Barrel racing. Had a couple babies too. I'm looking forward to acquiring & keeping a lot more in the near future. Also, my dogs will be along soon.
I now have a house in a rural area just north-east of Belleville, along with a couple hundred acres on which I'll be starting to build & operate a training & boarding stable. No doubt that will keep me very busy, but I enjoy a good challenge.
I was married once & consequently divorced once, but that was quite a long time ago. No kids (other than the four-legged kind). Currently single & unattached. I love cooking & baking & everyone says I'm an accomplished amateur chef, although I'm no Emeril or Bobby Flay. I'm working on giving Rob Rainford a run for his money though.
Here's to my next thirty years. Cheers!
