Life after Grade 8... THEN:...RAT! (Radio Active Turner) your lunchtime listening pleasure...well not really...more like whatever RAT felt like playing...caf fries w/gravy...whiling away the hours playing euchre--in the caf...the projection booth...working on your tan at track events...Hadley/Tredwell ball...Tutty ball...McKee ball...Tredwell/Poe tennis...driving from Erindale Cres to downtown Brampton--backwards--I guess because we could...CFNY...David Wilcox at Spanky's on more than one occasion...afternoon's at Houston's...O'Toole's...Vesuvio's...field parties in Caledon...the Fransiscan monk incident at the Lasic's...making restitution for partying on the mayor's brother's property...Grand Bend...Wasaga...Jake's Boathouse...working retail at the 'World' ...working the grill at O'Malley's...bringing home the big cake at American Motors...intro to grappa in your am coffee...liquid lunches at the newfie bar across the street from AMC-'Place de Royale'...going over the river...the 'Grant'-mobile...the Brothers Johnson 'Blam!' 8...Expand for more
-track...Iced T and V...Brampton Bananas Baseball (gotta love those yellow unis)...Excelsior lacrosse Mann Cup, well the intermissions actually...off to college (albeit sometime later for me)... NOW:...marriage ('dinks'-dbl income no kids--WHOA...STRIKE THE LAST PART!...the boy is here! Cooper John arrived Aug 11th, 2008 at 4;19pm, 8lbs 9ozs, 19 inches--WAHOO!; me-exec in monstrous consulting firm working in corporate transactions-finance stuff, she-attorney/real estate , 2 homes (anyone interested in the DC area?), mortgage(s), taxes, travelling 40-plus wks/yr, monthly neighborhood poker, envying the 'Jones' next door, hanging in Charlotte..."is it hot like this all the time?", new home construction contractors, lawn maintenance, renovation contractors, DIY renovations, country club, mid life crisis sports car and obligatory SUV (a hybrid though), 3 cats, one dog, the ocassional bottle of wine, maybe a beer or two in between and where in the hell did all this time go!
