Life We'll start at graduation. I farted around till I found out they were hiring for the Sandy Super Target, and I was hired to help open the store. They passed me up for promotion later on, so I left for United Health Care in Apr 97. It was a great job, but I still felt like I was going nowhere. So, in Sep 98, I left for Marine Corps Recruit Training. What a great decision that was. I grew up Air Force and realized I was getting restless in Utah. I spent my enlistment with 3d Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division (REIN) FMF, in Camp Pendleton, CA. I also got deployed to Yemen for Operation Determined Response (the recovery of the USS Cole) with BLT 3/1, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) on USS Tarawa, LHA-1. In Jan 00, I was blessed by a son. His name is Eryc (see the photo). So, when my end of service came up, I went home to be a dad.
