Scott E.'s Story
Life
Spent my days at San Gabriel High hanging around the bandroom, and pretty much "majored" in music my senior year. After school, I kind of slid into printing (my parent's line of work) and was in a mini-truck club, as well playing music in various bands in the area. Went to Trebas Institute of Recording Arts in 1987 to become a recording engineer, and have been there ever since, still majoring in music! rds, and doing Dog Agility on weekends to keep us sane!
With the advent of Digital Audio and ProTools, the studio biz has slowed down. To make ends meet, I took a job driving a water truck on construction sites. The money is good, and affords me the chance to now do studio work during the winter and on weekends. It feels good to actually work in the studio and enjoy the job as I did when I first started, not because I HAVE to.
