Scott's Story
After graduation, I attended the University of Miami and earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1987. I relocated to the southwest coast of Florida and began working for a civil engineering firm, designing custom homes on Marco Island. I obtained my architect's license in 1992 and soon thereafter opened my own design firm here in Naples, Florida. By 2006, I had had enough of the design business and decided to retire (at least temporarily).

to southern Florida, and I've settled into a relationship which has brought me two step-daughters, ages 31 and 28. I also have two step-granddaughters, ages 13 and 3; they live in Cincinnati. These days, I spend my time working on various Internet-based projects -- when I'm not following University of Miami sports, or attending their football and basketball games . . . the irony being that I was never a sports fan prior to attending college (I certainly never had any athletic ability whatsoever -- and still don't).
