Kept in contact with Phil Klutch (re-connected at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire in Agoura in 1982) and Art Thurman - who was an exec Astro-physicist at the Griffith Park/ LA Observatory, later a professor at a Judaical Institute in West Los Angeles, then lastly in Valley Glen. Most recently: R.I.P. 2016. 2) Navy. WestPac 76-77, Desron 7 (Destroyer-Cruiser Squadron) and escort for the Nuke Task force of Enterprise, Truxtan and Long Beach. Never went in port in Nam, only off the coast. But, AO was airborne particulate and ended up ALL OVER SE ASIA! Including vent systems of all ships. . . 3) College: LA Pierce > Went from Pre-Med to Engineering > Electronic/Electrical to Construction. Even rebuilt my car engine! I wanted to learn as much as possible (Attended LA Valley concurrently for Fire Technology - 4 years!). Started the Safety Services club at Pierce (Leading to #4 below), also the Celtic Heritage Club - which became the Celtic Heritage Society of California in 1985. Though, I also wanted to start the Survivalist Alliance - a freedom lovers answer to the anarchist Alliance for Survival. 4) Created & Operated the RES-Q Network. Consultant & Educator - Facilitated Safety & Emergency Management Training, Lectures, Consulting and Safety Inspections for commercial clients in the following industries: Construction, Manufacturing, Surface Mining, the Petroleum Industry, Medical and Dental clinics. Created over 25 course formats via research & experience (Certified instructor of US Dept of Labor / MSHA; USCGA Instructor; Certified Industrial Hygiene Technician; and California EMT [LA] 1979-2003). Marketed services via Business to Business networking events and personal telemarketing. 5) Did on the side Acting on Film and TV shows, including the ORIGINAL Evil Dead 3/ Army of Darkness and DeadWood (entire 2nd season). Worked various crew positions on low budget indie film productions: PA, grip, location scout, wardrobe, props, location coordinator; also some "ABL" Above-the-line positions as producer, associate producer, executive producer and always as a Creative Producer (with 50+ Film & TV projects in various stages of development: Sitcoms, Mini-series, MOWs, Features - did I miss any category??? 6) Created the Highlands Studios, to establish and build an innovative Independent World-Class motion picture production studio on 120 acres in the Santa Clarita Valley. This would have been a full studio with back lots and multiple water features, along with 20 new buildings with 7 sound stages from 20ksf to 50ksf, including 1st year of operations.
