Scott's Story
Life
I live in Barrhaven (well, Chapman Mills I think they call it, but it's all Barrhaven to me) with my girlfriend Susan and our 4 cats. I work a lot, travel frequently, and don't keep in touch with people nearly as much as I should!
College
I spent 6 total years in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and 5 of them were as a student-athlete at the University of Michigan. I loved every minute of it, and probably would still be there if my VISA had not run out. I ran hard, partied hard, and studied hard (in that order), and came out with a degree in History and English Literature, 5 All-American Plaques, 4 Conference Championships, and alot of great friend...Expand for more

Workplace
I bounced around at various jobs while I was still training for the Olympics. I fell short on that dream as an athlete, but will be attending the 2008 Games in Beijing now that I am the Director of National Team Programs for Athletics Canada, the National Sport Organization for Track & Field.
After retiring as a competitive athlete, I got involved with my Track Club (Ottawa Lions) as an Athletes' Rep on the Board of Directors. A year later, I took on the job as Executive Director of that club until I was offered the job at Athletics Canada less than 2 years later. Actually, it all seemed to happen pretty fast!
