Life
I came out of the closet right after high school. I have lived a few places since then, California, Wisconsin, and Arkansas, Houston, TX and am now in Boston, MA. No matter where I work I have done volunteer work for the benefit of the gay/lesbian community and those living with HIV disease. I am a Network Engineer. I love it. I am single (though open to changing that status if the right guy comes along).
My hobbies are bicycling, wood working, home renovation, Country Western Dancing (I do a mean two-step), camping (yes, in a tent, on the ground, with a real wood fire, etc), hiking, boating, and ju...Expand for more
st about anything that doesn't involve a roller coaster (I don't do heights, but don't have a fear of flying, which I find odd).
Life sure isn't what I thought it would be.... It is so much better. Coming out taught me how to be myself, and that is a very liberating experience.
Well, it would be great to hear how all your lives are going. Is your life what you thought it would be, or is it better? I know mine is definitely better.
College
College was great because I went later in life (25). I think I was a better student for having had the life experience and also having had to pay for college myself.
