Life
Wow. It is so hard to believe that so much time has passed by and how much has happened. After High School, went to the UofA. After graduating went on active duty as an officer in the Air Force stationed in San Antonio (not a bad assignment at all). Met my wife, Cherri Michel (like Michelle) Bayless. Loved the military but decided to get out after 4 years. Went to work at the Pantex Plant (this is the nuclear weapons production facility) in Amarillo, TX as an engineering manager. Very interesting job at a very unusual place but wasn't the best time of my life. Spent most of 94 and half of 95 fighting lymphoma with chemo and a b...Expand for more
one marrow tranplant(I still blame that for my thinning hair!) A year after the transplant I decided that I didn't want to be around anything nuclear and went to work for Hitachi Computer Products in Norman, OK (a great place to live). While in Norman, adopted two boys, Michael who was 3 and is now 14 and Cody who was 13 months and who is now 12. Going from no kids to two is a real experience! Wound up later with Seagate Technology in Oklahoma City who then transferred me to Longmont, Colorado (but live in Fort Collins which is the best place we have lived yet and the beer capital of Colorado!) where I manage an advanced concepts group.
