Scott's Story
I was a student at St. Ignatius Loyola (1st to 6th grade) 1973 - 1979 - family moved to Saranac Lake, NY where I attended St. Bernard School for one year (6th grade - yes, I had to repeat 6th grade!) 1979-1980 (Yes, I was up there for the Winter Olympics!) - moved back to NYC and attended St. Joseph School (7th and 8th grades) 1980-1982.
I was a freshman at St. Francis Xavier High School (1982-1983) where I had a bad accident, ruptured and lost my spleen - that wonderful school turned its back on me and I wound up transferring to Quintano's High School (at that time it was located on Central Park West) - I spent one year there (10th grade) and then transferred to High School for the Humanities - again, ...Expand for more
I spent one year (11th grade) and transferred back to Quintano's High School (at that point located on West 45th Street (I think)) where I graduated (1986).
For those who knew me in High School (after Xavier) you might remember my affinity for KISS and my extremely long, unkempt hair! I was usually alone as I had a hard time being social but was able to develop some friendships.... some based on musical interests, some just based on large amounts of pot!
I'm happy to say that I didn't continue the drug path and I eventually realized that if I wanted to work above ground I should cut the hair!
I'm definitely not the same person I was in High School and I'm wondering if ANYONE will remember me from then!
