Scott's Story

Scott Peloquin is a chartered financial consultant and the Chief Executive Officer of benefEx benefit consulting, headquartered in Livingston, New Jersey. His recognition that employee morale has decreased, during a time in which employer contributions to employee benefit programs have increased, profoundly affects benefEx's approach to employee benefit design. Mr. Peloquin's notion - now known as the "Employee Perquisites Paradox®" - has become widely recognized as one of the immutable frustrations of employers with respect to their benefit programs. An industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience, he led the consulting team that developed the PreActive In...Expand for more
sight® process, a mechanism designed to assist employers in reversing that paradox. Mr. Peloquin is a passionate advocate of free-market economics, and a widely recognized expert in health insurance and benefit financing as well as employee morale. He is a regularly featured speaker and panelist at employee benefit conferences nationwide. Mr. Peloquin actively campaigns for an open and unencumbered line of communication between employers and their employees, and fervently believes he and his company are helping to clear a path toward a sustainable and affordable health care and employee benefit system - one that will actually satisfy the majority of its participants.
