Workplace
(2002-2003): My first real job (other than academic research) was at Wang NMR in Livermore, CA, where I wore several hats. My primary responsibility was as research scientist--developing and testing hardware for Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), but I also assisted with public relations and market research.

tish Nuclear Fuels Ltd. Inc. (BNFL) as a senior chemist working with gas chromatography/mass spectroscopy to characterize the chemical content of cold war vintage nuclear chemical waste (fun-fun!). Duties included personnel management, research and development, equipment maintenance, and procedure development.
(2004 - ): Returned to my area of graduate work by taking an applications scientist position with Tecmag, Inc. in Houston, TX. Tecmag is one of the top three global NMR equipment manufacturers. Responsibilities include hardware development, testing, and customer support.
